Cytec's site remediation program focuses on reducing long-term liabilities, actively assessing off-site impacts, and working with the regulatory agencies to perform site assessments and remediation programs. We continue to look for opportunities to partner with local interests to bring our remediation sites to viable economic use. As one example, Cytec entered into an agreement to lease 100 acres at the Welland, Canada plant for a solar energy project. This acreage, which is part of a remediated waste area, is leased to a company to support solar power for a new housing development in Niagara Falls, Canada.
