DECLAR sheets set the industry standard for thermoforming and meet aircraft industry flammability requirements for cabin interiors, including the current FAA heat-release requirements. DECLAR sheets are engineered for use on standard thermoforming equipment with process conditions comparable to polycarbonates.
DECLAR is commonly used in aircraft interior storage bins and door sections and offers these outstanding qualities: |
- Exceeds FAA heat-release smoke generation and vertical burn requirements
- Offers high impact strength for a high degree of resistance to abrasion, stains, soils and solvents
- Meets industry toxicity requirements and has outstanding UV resistance
- Forms with existing tools used for polycarbonates (aluminum, metal-faced wood, wood) and permits large and complex parts
