Cytec offers a portfolio of two-component, pourable silicone casting compounds with a wide range of viscosities and properties to meet customer needs for molded parts. These products are commonly used to make tooling for trapped rubber molding of composite components. They are also used to make caul sheets and pressure intensifier to generate pressure in sharp radii and/or complex detail areas of a composite parts during autoclave cure.
