Cytec’s silicone-based adhesive and coating products have a strong track record in the aerospace industry. Products are offered in brushable and sprayable form for high-performance bonding of silicone rubber to a variety of substrates. Customers rely on our protective coatings to extend the life of their composite tooling, vacuum bags, caul sheets and cast molds and use our sprayable product forms in making conformal reusable vacuum bags for complex components. We also offer a solvent-borne fluroelastomer for use in cryogenic sealing and thermal insulative coatings. This product is proven to perform in the most extreme environments including the space shuttle liquid oxygen lines and space suits.
