Compressed production cycle times and cost – DAPCO adheres to all firewall materials: stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, epoxy coatings, polysulfide and silicone sealants, and EPDM/fluoro/silicone rubber seals. Its rapid-tack-free feature allows part movement within two hours. A rapid repair version allows four-hour fly away in AOG situations.
Improved shop safety – DAPCO's primerless adhesion eliminates VOC exposure and emissions. It is a solventless formulation with low odor.
Reduced sealant inventory with product versatility – DAPCO adheres to many other substrates with no cure inhibition.
Increased aerospace application options – DAPCO is a superior sealant for extreme condition areas in commercial aircraft, military jets, rotorcraft and regional/business jets. It offers an insulation coating on panels and ductwork in high temperature areas.
Completed performance testing – DAPCO has undergone extensive testing for military and commercial applications. It has a proven catastrophic fire protection (>3 minutes at 3500ºF/1927º >15 minutes at 2000ºF/1093ºC). It also shows good resistance to aerospace fluids.
