Floor Preparation
The suitability of the UV field applied
coating is assessed for each floor. Floors need to
be prepared and cleaned prior to coating, as for all
types of coatings. It is advised to stain or seal
new floors with a waterbased stain or sealer. On
existing floors the adhesion of the UV field applied
coating needs to be tested on small test areas prior
to renovation. Sanding of the previous coating might
be necessary to get not only good adhesion but also
good aesthetics.

Coating Application
The waterbased UV primer is dispensed onto
the area to be coated and spread evenly with T-bar
or roller.

UV Cure
The waterbased UV coating is allowed to dry
(water evaporation) and instantly cured with a
mobile curing unit.

Finished Floor
As the coating properties are developed
immediately, the coated vinyl floor can be returned
to service right away.
