Floor Preparation
The suitability of the UV field
applied coating is assessed for each
floor. Floors need to be prepared and
cleaned prior to coating, as for all types
of coatings. Floors should be mechanically edched. Diamond grinding is advised over
shot blasting as it eliminates roughness
and thus provides a very flat surface.
Damaged areas need to be repaired prior to
coating.

Coating Application
The waterbased UV primer is dispensed
onto the area to be coated and spread
evenly with T-bar or roller. Once the
water is evaporated a second UV coating is
applied by T-bar or roller.

UV Cure
The UV primer and UV coating are
simultaneously cured with a mobile curing
unit.

Finished Floor
As the coating properties are
developed immediately, the coated concrete
floor can be returned to service right
away.
