CYTEC TO IMPLEMENT PRICE INCREASE FOR SPECIALTY ADDITIVES
Increase in Prices for PTZ® Phenothiazine Products

 

West Paterson, NJ – January 11, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today the implementation of a 10% price increase in its PTZ phenothiazine product line within its Specialty Additives portfolio, effective immediately or as contract allows. This action applies to all physical forms including the prill, powder and LVT (liquid vehicle technology) formulations. This adjustment is being implemented due to sustained pricing pressures on the global supply chain including raw materials, logistics, energy and packaging costs.
