Cytec Announces Price Increases on Powder
Coating Resins and Additives in Europe, Middle East and Africa
West Paterson, NJ, 21 December 2007 – Cytec
Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers that
it is increasing the prices of its entire range of CRYLCOAT®
powder coating resins and ADDITOL P® additives for powder
coatings in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The price increase will be applicable on all
shipments on or after 15th January 2008, and will be between
0.07 and 0.09 EUR/kg, depending upon the grade.
This pricing adjustment is necessary to
compensate unexpectedly steep increases in feedstock’s and
energy occurring during the fourth quarter of 2007 and
continuing into 2008.
