Cytec Promotes Solutions for Field Applied Floor Coatings at
DOMOTEX Show
Brussels – December 19, 2012 - Cytec Industries
Inc. (NYSE:CYT) will showcase its UV resins for field applied UV
curable topcoats for floors on wood, concrete and vinyl at
Domotex. The show is taking place in Hannover/Germany from
January 12-15, 2013.
“In field applied UV curing applications for
floors, the substrate to be coated is stationary while the UV
curing equipment is moved over the surface or substrate for
curing,” says Audrey De Wulf, Marketing Manager at Cytec. “Field
applied coating is a breakthrough technology that brings a
number of benefits. An important one is the cost savings that
can be made because the floor can immediately be used after
curing the topcoat. It also opens the possibility to coat floors
that cannot afford traditional coating downtime. This technology
also makes the well-established and high-performing
UV-technology, which is widely used in industrial applications,
accessible to contractors in the field, e.g. for renovation
purposes” she adds.
