Cytec Announces Price Increase for Aero

West Paterson, NJ, December 4, 2007 -- Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT) announced today that it is increasing the price
of melamine crystal by $0.10 per pound ($0.22/kg). The
increase will be effective 1/1/2008 for all shipments of
melamine sold within the NAFTA region.
