Cytec Announces Price Increase for Powder Coating Resins in North America

Woodland Park, NJ – December 2, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT), and its affiliated companies, today announce a selling price increase on all powder coating resins (CRYLCOAT^® powder resins, ADDITOL^® powder resins additives, MODAFLOW^® additives and resins and UVECOAT^® powder resins) sold in North America. The increase will be US$0.08/lb-US$0.10/lb and will be effective for shipments on or after December 15, 2010 or as contracts allow.

Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material costs.
