Cytec Announces Price Increases on Phenolic Resins and Cyclised Rubber Resins in Asia Pacific

West Paterson, NJ, November 19, 2007 Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers that prices of PHENODUR™, ALVONOL™ and ALPEX™ resins will be increased in Asia Pacific. The increases will take effect on all shipments on or after December 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.

These increases will apply as follows:
• 0.10 €/kg for all grades of PHENODUR and ALVONOL phenolic resins,
• 0.50 €/kg for all grades of ALPEX cyclised rubber resins.

These adjustments are necessary due to the continued significant increases in prices of some key raw materials which are in short supply, energy and transport costs.
