Cytec Introduces
Non Irritant UV Water Based Polyurethane Dispersion for White
Pigmented Topcoats for Wood Applications
Woodland Park, NJ – November 12, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT), a technology leader in UV/EB curable resins and
additives, announced the launch of UCECOAT® 7733 a UV
curable polyurethane dispersion today. This new product was
developed to meet the growing demand for Xi-free (non irritant)
UV curable resins especially for white pigmented top coat for
wood applications. The new UCECOAT® 7733 can also be
used in wood sealers, basecoat for field applied applications
and resilient flooring.

UCECOAT® 7733 is a new, UV curable polyurethane
dispersion especially designed for white pigmented wood top
coats, giving outstanding hardness and scratch resistance, as
well as excellent stain and solvent resistance” said Philippe

Additives, Cytec. The material is also recommended for clear
coats on PVC and basecoats for in situ applications.
