Cytec Improves
UV Stabilization For Automotive TPO Compounds
Mumbai, India, November 1st 2010 - Performance standards set for
the automotive industry are a constant driving force for
innovation. Cytec Industries Inc., (NYSE:CYT) has developed
their new additive formulation that improves UV stabilization
with minimal fogging and high solubility in a non-polar
environment.
“Our CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS™ V703 stabilizer, works
effectively at lower dosage and even at higher concentrations,
it does not cause blooming,” explained Mr Jerry Eng, Global
Technical Service & Development Manager, Polymer Additives.
Jerry added that, “The global standards, SAE J1756 fogging
determinants, are met by our stabilizers and total VOC (volatile
organic compound) emission is minimized.”
Information on this new additive formulation will be detailed by
Jerry Eng at a presentation entitled, “New and Innovative
Developments for Automotive TPO (thermo plastic olefins)” at
11.00 am on 26th November 2010 at the Autoplas Technical
Presentations Hall, Autocluster Exhibition Centre, Pune, India.
