Cytec Announces Price Increase for Polyester Resins in Asia Pacific

Shanghai, China, October 29th , 2010 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers a selling price increase of its entire range of CRYLCOAT™ and ADDITOL™ polyester resins in Asia Pacific.

The price increase will range from US$0.15/kg to US$0.20/kg depending on grade and is effective immediately or as contracts allow.

This price increase is necessary to offset increase in raw material costs, and we will continue to deliver the right level of service and value to our esteemed customers.
