Cytec Announces New UV/EB
Curable Resin that Enables High Impact Graphics for Shrink
Sleeve Applications
Woodland Park, NJ – October 19, 2011 – Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE: CYT) announced today the launch of EBECRYL®
571 a modified polyester resin for energy curable flexographic
narrow web heat shrink sleeve printing ink and coating
applications. EBECRYL 571 has good printability, high
flexibility and excellent adhesion to PVC, PET-G and OPS. In
addition, EBECRYL 571 shows excellent wrinkle resistance during
transverse directional shrinkage and is suitable for process
colors and compatible with metallic and white pigments.

especially in emerging consumer packaging geographies such as
