New UV
Stabilization Solutions from Cytec Deliver Enhanced UV Service
Life for Plastic and Coating Applications
Brussels – October 18th, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT), a global leader in light stabilizer and antioxidant
technology, will highlight its expanded range of CYASORB CYNERGY
SOLUTIONS® stabilizers for plastics and coatings
applications at the upcoming K’ 2010.

the challenging demands of the plastics and coatings industries.
Our new products are designed to deliver enhanced UV service
life as well as additional benefits in the target applications.
CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS products provide cost effective UV
protection that meets the most demanding requirements in the
automotive, agricultural film, pipe, coatings, candle and molded
container markets,” said Paolo Arnaboldi, Global Marketing
Director, Polymer Additives.
Cytec is launching several new products at K’2010, including:
•
CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS V703 stabilizer, which provides
excellent weathering protection in interior and exterior
automotive TPO, with the added benefit of reduced VOC
generation.
• CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS A430 stabilizer, for 3 and 4 year +
greenhouse film covers. The product exhibits outstanding
agrochemical resistance, even in aggressive environments, and
delivers excellent thermal stability and high light transmission
for better crop quality and yield.
•
CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS R350 stabilizer significantly extends
the outdoor service life of durable rotomolded PP parts, and may
also be used in polyolefins that are thermoformed, extruded, and
injection molded.

launches from Cytec this winter. One is a new CYASORB CYNERGY
SOLUTIONS product for rotomolding, which will enhance
productivity and reduce energy consumption. Three other products
will be launched shortly, including a highly efficient UV
stabilizer for ultra thin films in electronic displays, a new UV
stabilizer for agricultural film, and a new UV stabilizer system
for waterborne coatings,” said Domenico Romanino, Global
