Cytec Announces Price Increases on Amino Resins in Asia Pacific

West Paterson, NJ, October 12, 2007 Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers that it is increasing prices of CYREZ™, CYMEL™ and MYCOAT™ amino crosslinking resins in Asia Pacific. The increases will take effect on all shipments on or after November 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.

These increases will apply as follows:
• 26 US cents/kg for Hexamethoxymethylmelamine (HMMM)
• 28 US cents/kg for High Solids Methylated Melamine
• 23 US cents/kg for Conventional Butylated Melamine
• 29 US cents/kg for Conventional Benzoguanamine
• 66 US cents/kg for High Solids Benzoguanamine
• 23 US cents/kg for Conventional Urea
• 23 US cents/kg for High Solids Urea
• 18 US cents/kg for Conventional Glycoluril
• 33 US cents/kg for High Solids Glycoluril
• 35 US cents/kg for Mixed Etherified Melamine
