Latest Innovations in UV/EB Curable Resins and Additives
Brussels, September 27, 2011 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT)
is one of the leaders in research and technology for UV/EB
Curable Resins and Additives. The company will be present at the
RadTech Europe exhibition and will introduce two new systems:

“Anti-Graffiti
Coating – Simply the Best!”, by Dr. Philippe De Groote,
Application Technology Engineer- Consumer Electronics and
Industrial Plastics. This presentation presents a recently
commercialized UV resin system that provides exactly what
the market has been seeking: exceptional anti-graffiti
surface effect in combination with easy adhesion to many
substrates and state of the art chemical, abrasion and
scratch resistance.

“EBECRYL®
571: an energy curable modified polyester resin for narrow
web shrink sleeve applications”, by Dr. Marc Heylen, Global
ATG Manager for Packaging Coatings & Inks. Dr. Heylen’s
presentation will cover the performance attributes and
benefits of EBECRYL 571, a novel modified polyester resin
developed for adhesion to PVC, PET-G and OPS filmic
substrates. Used as a primary ink resin binder during heat
shrink sleeve applications, EBECRYL 571 has good
printability, high flexibility, excellent wrinkle resistance
and shrink performance.
