Cytec to Promote Innovative UV Coating Technologies at Coatings Trends & Technologies Show

Woodland Park, NJ – September 7, 2012 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today that it will exhibit its innovative UV technology for electronic applications and plastics at the Coatings Trends & Technologies 2012 show in Oakbrook, Illinois on September 11. Specifically, Cytec will focus on communicating the benefits and key features of the EBECRYL® UV resins and UCECOAT® water-based UV resins including:

• UCECOAT® 7200 - a solvent free and sprayable, energy curable, water-based resin with high scratch and abrasion resistance for hardcoat application
• EBECRYL® 8110 - a UV resin for permanent easy fingerprint removal without smudge for consumer electronics devices
• EBECRYL® 8296 - a highly flexible resin for haptic coatings effect
• EBECRYL® 8311 - a UV nanocomposite resin for outstanding abrasion and scratch resistance.
