Cytec Announces Price Increase On Amino Cross-linking Resins In Asia Pacific

Shanghai, China, August 26th, 2010 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers a selling price increase of its entire range of CYMEL™ and CYREZ™ amino cross-linking resins in Asia Pacific.

The price increase will range from US$0.10/kg to US$0.20/kg depending on grade and is effective for all shipments as of 15th September 2010, or as contracts allow. Cytec remains committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers. This price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw materials and shipping costs for the past months.
