Cytec Announces
Price Increase On Epoxy Resins And Hardeners In Asia Pacific
Shanghai, China, August 19th 2010 – Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its
customers a selling price increase of its entire range of
BECKOPOXTM epoxy resins and hardeners and DUROXYNTM
epoxy esters in Asia Pacific.
The price increase will be up to EUR 0.35/kg depending on the
grade and effective for all shipments as of 1st September 2010,
or as contracts allow. Cytec remains committed to servicing and
delivering value to its customers. However this price increase
is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw materials and
shipping costs for the past months.
