Cytec Announces
Price Increases on its Epoxy Resins and Epoxy Hardeners in
Europe, Middle East and Africa
Brussels - August 11, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT),
and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers
the implementation of a price increase for its entire range
BECKOPOXTM and DUROXYN® epoxy resins and epoxy
hardeners in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The price increase will be applicable on all shipments as of
September 1st, 2010, or as contracts allow. It will be up
to EUR 0.35/kg, depending on the grade.
This pricing adjustment is necessary to compensate for
increasing raw material prices over the last months. Cytec
remains committed to servicing and delivering value to its
customers.
