Cytec Announces Price Increases on its UV/EB Curable Resins Product Range in Europe, Middle East and Africa

Brussels - August 9, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers the implementation of a price increase for the following UV/EB Curable Resins sold in Europe, Middle East and Africa:

• Monomers

• Oligomers

• Epoxy Acrylates

The price increase will be applicable on all shipments as of September 1st, 2010, or as contracts allow. It will range for most resins from 5% to 10%.

Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material and transportation costs.
