UV Curing Technology Continues
to Expand to On-Site Applications
Shanghai, China, July 5th, 2010 - Ultra-violet (UV) curing
technology is making inroads in the refinishing segment. Cytec’s
Technical Service and Development Manager, RADCURE™ - Asia
Pacific, Mr Indrajit Bhattacharya will introduce the benefits of
this usage expansion in his presentation entitled, “UV Curing
for On-Site Applications” at the 3rd UV Coatings Technology
Conference on 8 - 9 July 2010 at Renaissance Shanghai Pudong
Hotel.
Indrajit explains, “Traditionally, UV curing equipment is fitted
on the coating line of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
However, advances in UV curing technology enable portable UV
equipment to be used in finishing and/or refinishing on-site
applications like wooden parquet, PVC and concrete floorings.
These benefits, previously enjoyed only by OEM, are now
available for on-site applications.”
This presentation highlights the instantaneous drying speed of
UV curing that tremendously cuts down energy, impacts
performance and reduces down time. The needs for various
