Cytec Announces Price Increases on Phenolic Resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa

Brussels – 27th - June, 2011 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers that it is increasing the selling prices of its entire range of PHENODUR^® and ALNOVOL^® Phenolic resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The price increase, up to 15% depending on the grade, will be applicable on all shipments as of 15th July 2011, or as contracts allow. This price increase is necessary to compensate for the steep increase of key raw materials. Cytec remains committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers.
