CYTEC TO IMPLEMENT PRICE
INCREASE FOR PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVES
Increase in Prices for GELVAŽ GME, GELVAŽ GMS, UCECRYLŽ and
SOLUCRYLŽ Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Products.
West Paterson, NJ – June 6, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:
CYT) announced today the implementation of a $.09 per pound
price increase on its solvent acrylic pressure sensitive
adhesive line, and a $.05 per pound increase on its emulsion
acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive products in North America,
effective for shipment made on or after July 1, 2008 or as
contracts allow. This increase is necessitated by the continued
escalation of raw material, energy, and incoming transportation
costs.
