Cytec Announces Price Increases on Powder Coating Resins and on Additives for Powder Coatings in North and South America

West Paterson, NJ, June 5, 2007 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today that effective July 1, 2007, or as contracts allow, it is increasing the prices of its CRYLCOAT® powder coating resins and its ADDITOL® additives for powder coatings. The price increases will be between $0.05/lb. and $0.07/lb., depending on the grade. They will apply to all shipments on or after July 1, 2007 sold in North and South America.

The price increases reflect the escalating raw material and energy costs which are being driven by the growing global demand for feedstocks. The company continues to implement cost-saving initiatives in order to minimize the impact of the rising raw material costs.
