CYTEC ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASE FOR CYLINK® MONOMER PRODUCTS.

West Paterson, NJ - June 3, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today a global price increase of 6% for its CYLINK Monomer range of cross-linking products. This has become necessary due to continued escalation of raw material and freight costs.

The CYLINK Monomer product line is used as cross-linking monomers in the emulsion polymer industry.
