Cytec Announces Price Increase
for Energy Curable Products in the Americas.
Woodland Park, NJ – May 26, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:
CYT), and its affiliated companies, today announce a selling
price increase on all Energy Curable Monomers, Oligomers,
ADDITOL® photo initiators, and VANCRYL®
acrylic resins, solutions and emulsions sold in the Americas.
The increase by product family is summarized below and will be
effective for shipments on or after June 7, 2010, or as
contracts allow.

Acrylated
Monomers pricing will increase $0.10/lb to $0.40/lb.

Epoxy Acrylate
Oligomer pricing will increase $0.10/lb to $0.20/lb.
-
All other
Oligomers pricing will increase $0.15/lb up to $0.25/lb.

ADDITOL®
photo initiators pricing will increase $0.15/lb up to
$0.25/lb.
-
VANCRYL®
acrylic resins, solutions and emulsions pricing will
increase $0.05/lb up to $0.18/lb
Cytec is committed
to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this
price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in
raw material costs.
