Cytec Industries Announces Price Increase for Aero Melamine™

West Paterson, New Jersey, May 23, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) today announced a price increase for Aero Melamine™. Effective June 1, or as contracts allow, melamine list prices will increase by $0.15/lb ($330/MT). The Company cited a tight global supply/demand balance as contributing to the increase.
