CYTEC POLYMER ADDITIVES GROUP INTRODUCES CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS™ LIGHT STABILIZERS

West Paterson, NJ – May 16, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today the introduction of a new line of Polymer Additives products called CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS™ light stabilizers. This new family of stabilizer products was developed with Cytec's innovative technologies and market expertise to meet the demanding performance requirements of specific plastics applications. The products feature trouble-free processing, excellent dispersion, and easy handling forms.
