Cytec Announces Global Price
Increase for AEROSOLŪ Surfactant Products
Woodland Park, NJ – May 12, 2011 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:
CYT), and its affiliated companies, today announce a global
selling price increase on its AEROSOLŪ surfactant. The increase
will be between $0.32 to $1.05/lb or equivalent in local
currency dependant on the grade, and will be effective for
shipments on or after June 1, 2011, or as contracts allow.
Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its
customers, however this price increase is necessary to
compensate for increasing raw material, freight and other costs.
Cytec is a leading producer of sulfosuccinate surfactants which
are used in the emulsion polymer, paints, inks, adhesives, and a
myriad of other industries.
