Cytec Introduces New Way to
Improve Rubber for Cord Adhesion at the 2nd Annual Tire
Technologies Congress 2010.
Shanghai, China, May 5th 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT) announced today that it will present, “New Way to
Improve Rubber for Cord Adhesion” at the 2nd Annual
Tire Technologies Congress 2010 to be held at the Marriott
Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel, Shanghai, China on 25th & 26th
May 2010.
Cytec’s presenter, Mr Ralph Schaefer, Technical Service &
Development Manager –Tire, will introduce ALNOVOL™ modified
phenolic resins which offers an effective replacement for
resorcinol-based adhesion promoter systems for steel cord. This
innovative development offers many value-added benefits
including lower environmental impact, improved physical & aging
properties combined with reduced system costs.
The Congress will focus on the theme, “Interpreting Industry
Legislation and Regulations, Exploring Cutting-Edge Technologies
and Trends”. Cytec will also exhibit at Booth B12 at a tire
