Cytec Highlights Waterborne Solutions at Interlakokraska 2013

Brussels, March 5, 2013 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) will promote its Resins and Additives product ranges at the upcoming Interlakokraska 2013. Focus point at this show are new waterborne solutions.

For concrete applications Cytec highlights its waterborne one- and two-component systems. “One-component systems are required when good hot tire and abrasion resistance or efflorescence resistance are needed. They can also be used on fresh concrete or as densifiers” says Amy Geiger, Global Marketing Manager. “Our two-component systems are either composed of epoxy or polyurethane resins which are suitable for primer or topcoat applications,” she adds.

For industrial and architectural paints, Cytec emphasizes the recently launched ADDITOL^® VXW 6503 N universal wetting and leveling agent which is also very effective in furniture and industrial wood coatings. Its key benefit is the improvement of the substrate wetting and anti-cratering performance without contributing to foam stabilization or impacting intercoat adhesion.
