Cytec to Present Phosphoric Acid Scale Inhibiting Solution at SYMPHOS

Woodland Park, NJ – April 30, 2013 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today that it will present and exhibit at the 2nd International Symposium on Technology and Innovation in the Phosphates Industry in Agadir, Morocco May 6 – 10. Cytec will be promoting its PHOSFLOW™ scale inhibitor. This technology substantially reduces scale formation on heat exchangers and process piping in phosphoric acid production plants.

John Carr, Industrial Minerals R&D Group Leader, will be presenting the paper “Scale controlling chemical additives for phosphoric acid production plants” in which he will share detailed trial data and the benefits of using this proprietary chemistry.
