Cytec Announces Price Increase for Liquid Coating Resins and Additives in the Americas

Woodland Park, NJ – April 27, 2011 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT), and its affiliated companies, today announce to its customers a selling price increase on Liquid Coating Resins and Additives sold in the Americas. The increase will range from $0.08/lb to $0.15/lb and will be effective for shipments on or after May 23, 2011 or as contracts allow.

Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material and freight costs.
