Cytec Announces Price Increases
on its UV/EB Curable Resins Product Range in Europe, Middle East
and Africa
Brussels, April 23, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and
its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers the
implementation of a price increase for its entire range of UV/EB
Curable Resins sold in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The increase will
be:
•
Monomers : +0.20€/kg
• Epoxy acrylates: +0.25€/kg
• Oligomers : +0.15€/kg
The adjustment will
be effective for all shipments as of May 15th, 2010 or as
contract terms permit. Cytec is committed to servicing and
delivering value to its customers, however a price increase is
necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material costs,
particularly liquid epoxy resins, acrylic acid and polyols.
