Cytec Announces Price Increases
on Epoxy Resins and Hardeners in Europe, Middle East and Africa
Brussels, April 16th, 2010 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT),
and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers
that it is increasing the selling prices of its entire range of
BECKOPOX® and DUROXYN® epoxy resins and
epoxy hardeners in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Cytec is
committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers,
however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the
increase in raw material costs over the last several months.
The price increase will be applicable on all shipments as of May
1st, 2010, or as contracts allow. It will be up to
EUR 0.40/kg, depending on the grade.
