Receives Supplier of the Year Award From Boeing
Woodland Park, NJ, April 14, 2010 – Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT) announced today that its Engineered Materials
division has been recognized as Supplier of the Year by The
Boeing Company. Cytec was one of fourteen companies honored last
night for exceptional commitment to excellence in working with
Boeing.

with the Boeing Supplier of the Year award,” said Tom Gygi,
Boeing Supplier Management. “Cytec’s excellent quality and
delivery performance, their strong focus on comprehensive cost
reduction, as well as their exceptional post-sale product
support exemplify the key attributes required to be recognized
for this award.”

Supplier Management and vice president and general manager of
Supplier Chain Management and Operations for Boeing Commercial
Airplanes.
This year’s winners represent an elite group among more than
12,000 active Boeing suppliers in nearly 100 countries around
the world. This selection was based on stringent performance
criteria for quality, delivery performance, cost, environmental
initiatives, customer service and technical expertise.
In addition to the Supplier of the Year award, Engineered
Materials’ Orange, California and Greenville, Texas sites
received the Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing
Company issues these awards annually to recognize suppliers who
have achieved superior performance.
Cytec Engineered Materials supplies carbon fiber prepregs,
adhesives and surfacing films to Boeing for primary and
secondary structures and interior applications. These advanced
materials are used on Boeing aircraft programs such as the 777
and 737 and key growth programs including the 787 Dreamliner and
747-8.
