Cytec Promotes New Narrow Web Inks & Coatings Technologies at International Sleeve Label Conference

Woodland Park, NJ – April 13, 2012 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today it will exhibit at the International Sleeve Label Conference April 18-19 in Cincinnati, OH. Cytec will focus on promoting EBECRYL^® 571 a modified polyester resin for energy curable flexographic narrow web heat shrink sleeve printing ink and coating applications. EBECRYL 571 has good printability, high flexibility and excellent adhesion to PVC, PET-G, PLA, and OPS.

If anything, usage of energy curable inks and coatings for heat shrink sleeve applications is expanding rapidly throughout the Americas and in several emerging Asia Pacific markets.
