Cytec Announces Price Increase for Polymer Additives Products

Woodland Park, NJ – March 31, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) today announces a global selling price increase on its UV light stabilizer, antioxidant and antistatic agent product lines. The increase will range from four percent to eight percent and will be effective immediately, or as contracts allow.

Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material costs.
