Cytec Announces Price Increase on Acrylate Monomers, Oligomers, and VANCRYL^® Acrylic Resins in the Americas

Woodland Park, NJ – March 28, 2012 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) and its affiliated companies announced to its customers a selling price increase on its acrylate monomers, oligomers, and VANCRYL^® acrylic resins sold in North America and Latin America. Effective with shipments made on or after April 15th. 2012, or as contracts allow, Cytec will implement the following increases:

• Acrylate Monomers pricing will be increased by up to $0.21/lb.

• Epoxy Acrylate Oligomer pricing will be increased by up to $0.19/lb.

• All other Oligomers pricing will be increased by up to $0.17/lb.

• VANCRYL^® resins pricing will be increased by up to $0.09/lb.

Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material costs.
