Cytec Announces Price Increases for Acrylic Resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa

Brussels, March 26, 2010 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers that it is increasing the selling prices of its entire range of MACRYNAL^®, VIACRYL^® and UCECRYL^® solvent based and water based acrylic resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material costs over the last several months.

The price increase will be applicable on all shipments from Cytec Industries Inc. or its affiliated companies as of April 1st, 2010, or as contracts allow. It will be up to EUR 0.15/kg, depending on the grade.
