Cytec Presents Recent Composite Developments at Innovative International Composites Summit

March 24, 2011 – Woodland Park, NJ – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) today announced Carmelo Lo Faro, Vice President of Technology Engineered Materials will be presenting at the Second Innovative International Composites Summit. The Summit is being held March 29, 30 and 31 at Paris Porte de Versailles in conjunction with the JEC Composites Show.

The summit’s theme is Composites for Mass Production. LoFaro’s presentation is part of the Global Carbon Fiber Market strategy conference, which is focused on the increasing need for high volume, high quality and cost-effective manufacture of carbon fiber to support growing composite material adoption in aerospace and other emerging industries.

Lo Faro’s talk, entitled “Recent Developments in Composite Materials Manufacturing” will showcase Cytec’s applications engineering expertise which leverages multidisciplinary competencies to synergize design, materials and manufacturing to achieve breakthroughs in composite material application.

Cytec’s Engineered Materials business develops innovative composite prepregs, resins and adhesives that are widely used in the aerospace and high performance automotive industries.
