Cytec Announces Price Increases for VIAPAL^® Product Range in Europe, Middle East and Africa

Brussels, March 23, 2010 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers that it is increasing the selling prices of its entire range of VIAPAL^® unsaturated polyester resins, gelcoats and color pastes in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material costs over the last several months.

The price increase will be applicable on all shipments as of April 1st, 2010, or as contracts allow. It will be up to EUR 0.15/kg, depending on the grade.
