Cytec Announces Global Price Increases for AEROSOL^® Surfactants and CYLINK^® Monomers

Woodland Park, NJ - March 23, 2010 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers a global increase of selling prices of its AEROSOL^® surfactants and CYLINK^® cross-linking monomers. The increase for the AEROSOL range of $0.06-$0.20/lb depending on the product and $0.10/lb for the CYLINK monomers, will be effective as of April 1st, 2010, or as contracts allow. These increases have become necessary because of rising raw material costs.

Cytec is a leading producer of sulfosuccinate surfactants which are used in the emulsion polymer, paints, inks, adhesives and a myriad of other industries. CYLINK monomers are used as cross-linkers in the emulsion polymer industry.
