Cytec Announces Price Increase on Its Conventional Resins and Crosslinkers in Europe, Middle East and Africa

Brussels – 21th March, 2012 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers that it is increasing the selling prices of its amino crosslinking resins, conventional acrylic resins, phenolic resins, unsaturated polyesters, gelcoats, conventional alkyd resins and conventional epoxy resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Depending on the grade and the product family, the price will be increased from 0.05 €/kg up to 0.25 €/kg. The increase will be applicable on all shipments as of 15th April 2012, or as contracts allow.

This price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase of key raw materials.
