Cytec Announces Price Increases in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Waterborne Epoxy Resins, Waterborne Acrylic Resins, CED Resins and Selected Additives

Brussels - March 19th, 2012 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers a price increase for its waterborne resins and additives sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The price increase will be applicable on all shipments as of April 15th, 2012, or as contracts allow. This price increase will range from 5% to 7% depending on the product family.

This adjustment is in addition to any previously applied price increases.

Cytec remains committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers. However, this price increase is necessary to compensate for the continued escalation of raw material costs.
